Brain Health Counseling

At Hillcrest Family Services, the compassion and extensive experience of our counseling team means we provide a broad range of brain health services and treat a wide array of conditions for individuals and families of all ages and backgrounds.

Please complete the online New Patient Forms.  After it is completed and submitted, a Hillcrest staff member will contact you to schedule an appointment.

No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay. A discounted/sliding fee schedule is available.

Laurey Easland

Therapist

Education:
LMSW, CTRS, MT-BC

Specializations:
Individual or family therapy for a variety of issues such as abuse, anger management, anxiety, depression, divorce, grief, trauma to children beginning at age three, adolescents, and adults. Board certified in music and recreation therapy, using creative arts and play in therapy.

Jennifer Erickson

Education:
MA, MS Ed. CADC

Specializations:
Jennifer provides individual and family therapy services to all age groups. Jennifer provides therapy from a strengths-based approach designed towards the empowerment of the individual to overcome barriers to well-being and to enhance their overall quality of life. Additionally, she specializes in working with individuals who have co-occurring addictions and mental health concerns.

I work with adolescents, adults, and LGBT individuals providing individual, couple, and family therapy. I received my BSN, MSN, DNP, and post-doctorate from the University of Iowa’s College of Nursing in Iowa City. For 15yrs, I worked for the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics (UIHC) Child Health Specialty Clinic (CHSC) in Oelwein and Decorah. On the side, I worked a couple years for Northeast Iowa Behavioral Health (NEIBH) in Oelwein and taught classes at Clarkson College in Omaha. Children, behaviors, and learning are my strong-suit, but I enjoy working with all ages and concerns. I view my calling as “helping others to be all they can be”.
