If your child is having problems in school, coping with life, or having behavioral issues, your concerns are our concerns. Hillcrest has a long standing tradition of helping youths who are in trouble. Through our Culture of Results, we’re able to get the lives of youths back on track, back into school, and back into the workforce.
We have developed individualized residential programs to treat troubled youth through individual, group and family therapy as well as brain health and psychiatric treatment, through education at our school, with nursing and medical services, with tutoring and mentoring, and finally, through a comprehensive approach to aftercare planning and services.

“Bobby” was a youth that was in foster care or residential treatment for several years. He was so resistant to treatment that nor organization in Iowa would accept him. Once he completed his out-of–state placement, he came to Hillcrest where he was provided with the structure and stability the he needed, but he also had to learn independent living skills as he was getting to the age of adulthood. Through our Culture of Results, ”Bobby” was able to complete his treatment goals, hold a part-time job and move into an independent living program. He has a goal of going to college.
