Psychiatric Services

Hillcrest provides community-based psychiatric services to adolescents and adults that have been diagnosed with a serious and persistent brain health illness and are motivated to increase their community involvement and independence within the next six months to two years.

Individuals participating in community-based psychiatric treatment are expected to participate in all aspects of their treatment and will work closely with a team of professionals to develop a plan of care, which may include:

• Readiness Development
• Goal Setting
• Goal Achieving
• Goal Keeping

A client’s participation in the program is paid by MBC of Iowa, Title 19 Iowa Plan (Dubuque County). The program is certified by the Iowa Department of Human Services for the Provision of Intensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services.
