Mobile crisis services are available 24/7 including nights, weekends, and holidays through the crisis hotline. A team of trained staff can be dispatched to a person of any age in crisis. The Mobile Crisis team is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide face-to-face care on an immediate basis. When dispatched, the Mobile Crisis Counselors meet the individual at their home, work, school, or any other location in the community within 1 hour, providing the individual in crisis with the care they need when they need it the most. If you are in immediate need and could benefit from talking to someone, please call 1-855-800-1239 and ask for a counselor to come to your location.
The counselors will assess the situation to determine how to best support the individual in need. If the individual needs a safe place to stay for a short time, the Mobile Crisis Counselors can make a referral to Crisis Stabilization Program. This Hillcrest-operated program holds two beds for individuals in crisis to stay for up to 5 days, while gaining access to mental and physical health care. While at the house, the individual will receive 24-hour-a-day support from compassionate, dedicated staff and will develop a plan to get connected with the resources needed to get back on their feet.
Our Subacute program, the first of its kind to open in the state, provides short-term, intensive, recovery oriented services in order to stabilize an individual who is experiencing a decreased level of functioning due to a mental health condition. the purpose is to provide further stabilization to individuals 18 years and older, engaging them in comprehensive treatment, rehabilitation, recover activates, and transitioning into the least restrictive setting as soon as possible.
