Counseling

Hillcrest’s mental health therapists practice within our Culture of Results. They’re completely committed to positive outcomes for their patients, and are driven by the successes they see everyday. Our outpatient counseling, available in a number of Hillcrest locations, is available to adolescents and adults suffering from depression and anxiety, cases of ADHD, the general stresses of life, and many specialty areas of concern such as eating disorders, couple counseling, addictions and issues of abuse or grief. Hillcrest’s therapists also work closely with physicians who prescribe and manage medications required for emotional disorders.

Counseling Services Include

Success Story

Sue

Sue had problems with stress and anxieties. She sought treatment at Hillcrest after she went to a local emergency room thinking she was having a heart attack. She wasn’t. Sue was having a panic attack and the counselors at Hillcrest worked with her to get control of her life. Sue learned coping skills to prevent the attacks, and calming skills when the panic attacks were imminent. With the help of Hillcrest, she got better, and now Sue understands her symptons and how she can heal herself.

Success Story

Stuart

Stuart was depressed. He lacked motivation and was troubled by his thoughts of suicide. Like so many others, he came to Hillcrest to get better, to get back on track. Hillcrest’s counselors prescribed the medication that was needed for Stuart to manage his depression. After in-depth counseling, Stuart has been able to maintain his full-time job, and as an added benefit, he has become closer to his family and friends.
